While the history of Pin-Up art probably goes back to the caves for man, judging by Paleolithic sculptures of well endowed women, the relatively modern history of Pin-Up art can probably be traced to the 1930's and 40's, when artists like Vargas and George Petty popularized the images for magazines, newspapers, calendars and postcards.

The real heyday, however, was during World War II. Pin-up girls like Betty Grable could be seen in just about every G.I.s locker, and flight crews decorated their planes with the iconic art of the girls they loved back home. Who can forget the famous B-17 Flying Fortress named, Memphis Belle?

In honor of their service, and that of all our troops in the field today, we are bring back the Pin-Up girls in a new series of ales.

Our first, Pin-Up Ales Blonde, is a crisp and refreshing blend of wheat, barley and hops to create the perfect blonde ale with a splash of natural fruit flavor for those spring and summer days when you want to do some easy drinking.

In the future, we look forward to rolling out additional Pin-Up Ales girls for each season, and every microbrew drinkers taste. Some of the brews we have in mind are:

Pin-Up Ales RedHead
Pin-Up Ales
Brunette
Pin-Up Ales Amber
Pin-Up Ales Black
Pin-Up Ales Wee-Heavy Betty

So stay please tuned!
